Frequently Asked Questions

·         How do I receive a service from Canllaw?

If you are eligible for services from Canllaw you should arrange for a professional within either the NHS or Social Services to refer you to us.  Canllaw does not accept referrals direct from the public.  The professional should make sure that you are eligible and either telephone us or send us a UAP enquiry form.

·         How do I know whether I'm eligible to receive a service from Canllaw?

The formal Eligibility Criteria is HERE, or a simplified version is on the How To Refer document HERE.

·         How should I expect Canllaw to treat me and what kind of service should I expect?

Canllaw staff will assess your needs and visit you to provide rehabilitation as and when necessary.  The service will be provided for up to 6 weeks (this could mean as little as 1 week of intervention and up to 6 weeks).  The benchmarks for our service are to be seen on the Pathway page of this site, available HERE, and provides a detailed description of the service's processes and standards.

·         I would like to work for Canllaw.  Are there any posts available at the moment?
